Stacey Phoenix reacts to potential funding cut to EVA Women’s Aid

I applaud Anna Turley MP for speaking out to protect EVA Women’s Aid from a recent Government funding cut. EVA is an essential service for victims of domestic abuse in Redcar and it’s disgraceful that the team’s fantastic work to save the lives of local women could be wiped out by someone in London who has no concept of how valuable the service is. Cygnet Law will continue to support the charity through fundraising, as it has done for years, however it should receive the funding it deserves from the Government. Thank goodness Anna is fighting EVA’s corner!
