David is an integral part of Cygnet Law. As both a Director and a Barrister, David juggles his demanding responsibilities with practised ease. As a passionate and determined individual, he strives to offer exceptional client reassurance.

David has a wealth of experience and knowledge of complex and challenging cases regarding family law matters. Additionally, David frequently represents parents, grandparents, and more throughout the North East region.

He is also a member of the Family Law Bar Association.

Awards & Qualifications

David has had a long and fruitful career since qualifying as a Barrister in 2010. He has obtained his Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). The year 2010 was exciting for David, who also won two prestigious accolades, the Plowden Prize and the Inner Temple Award, and outstanding results for his Bar Vocational course (BVC).

Interests

David interests prove that the dedication he has for helping other in the legal field, transfer to his personal life. Combining ultra-running, Boston terriers, and fell walking presents a holistic approach. Each element supports and enhances the others, offering a blend of physical challenge, emotional support, and mental relaxation. Whether it's pushing the limits of human endurance, finding companionship in a Boston Terrier, or seeking solace in the beauty of the fells.
